Doorbell rang at 4 this afternoon. WTF, nobody out door-to-dooring, too cold. So it's my mail carrier, who is a friend, asking if I have an extra gas in can for her POS delivery mobile. Gave her the half gallon I had for the snowchuckers. She was worried she didn't have enough to get back to the shop. Guess running out of gas is a huge no no. She owes me a glass of wine someday after all of this Covid stuff hopefully becomes less of a detriment.
Just had a blurb on the news about how the DHS is changing '1A, 1B' etc. to label their vaccine phases to 'Currently eligible, next to be eligible' which I guess is simpler but a) doesn't make more vaccines, does it? and b) I often wonder how long these meeting are to figure out these new names.
Told today that if I get the vaccine I can not donate convo. plasma anymore.
Same here. Which makes sense for donating for Covid but isn't plasma used for other stuff?
Also can't I still just do regular blood donation?
I'm hoping to get another one or two sessions in before I get my shot but I didn't think to ask today.
I become eligible to donate on April 8th. I doubt I will be vaccinated by then
Well I think I'll just keep donating till no more convo, then I'll start looking for a vaccine. I did get a letter from one of my employers stating I'm an essential worker.
Anybody see the new Haribo commercial yet? It's not as good as the "I'm gonna flyyyyyy it into my mouf" board meeting one, but still cute.
