They are saying if things go as forecast we will be 4 straight days without getting above zero degrees F in the Twin Cities for the first time in 27 years.
The first year I was in Iowa I think a record was set for number of days where the temperature never passed 0

I am on yet another zoom session - this one my choice. I want to scream, however, for every time a speaker ends a sentence with, "Right?" Just stop it. You're presuming I understand and agree with what you just said. You have no idea what I'm thinking, do you? RIGHT??"

My parents found a tape of me from college on the student radio station...possibly my first time? My dad somehow got it transferred to a computer and email it to me. 1) I'm not even 18 1/2 years old on this recording, and 2) I'm reading news, so you hear me say "With this [Call Letters] news report, I'm Sara [Maiden Name]." I actually physically cringed when I heard that. The report itself wasn't the worst, but wasn't great either.

I'm never a fan of hearing recordings of myself.

One time I was reading news onair without reading it first and pronounced a word as "lavicious." Knew at the time it wasn't right, but my brain couldn't think it through before my mouth said it. Ugh.

I've been working on a project for the last few months. Our church started taping services waaaaaay back in the 90s. Over the years, Lew and I have checked them out of the church library and have dubbed the anthems, special music, etc. I've been working on getting those onto my computer for me and the other choir members. Most of the solos are from me and one or two of the men; we had a lot of choir "peeps" but not very many brave enough to sing solos. ;)
I can listen to about six, then I'm done. I'm hoping it will be fun for the grandkids; my boys loved hearing my mother's voice on the (very) few recordings I have of her singing.

Did you edit your post to add that word? I could swear I read the post without the word before posting the word myself...
Yeah, it wasn't there when I replied either. So, you're both right. And actually, in all likelihood, I wrote that news piece. Not sure many others at my then workplace would have known what it meant.
