Proud of the men's BB team. They are improving - especially defensively - and if they can just make a few more shots fall, they'll win some of these games.

Consider this: Texas won last week at the Phog by 25 points. We lost to them by 6 at their place, after trailing by 15. I call that progress.
I sure wish I'd been able to watch it last night. Using my phone for ESPN play by play, and CF for the game thread AND the thread on the Georgia election, AND watching CNN and MSNBC on television was nearly too much for me to keep up with :)

The online class fees reminded me of one of my wife’s co-workers kids. He had one online class so he was staying in the dorms. You had to request before the 19th of December to get a waiver to break your dorm contract. On the 18th he got an email saying his last class was now online. He didn’t know the process of asking for waivers. He tried but hasn’t heard back.

They really need to figure out what is online or in person earlier to allow these kids to plan.
I agree with your last point. However, wouldn't the kid's advisor know what to do?

My sons advisor never mentioned anything to him. He worked through it by himself. So not sure. My past experiences have not been good when it came to advisors though.

I know it's been a long time, but when I was in school if there was something academic related, I'd ask my adviser. These truly are different times. He could always ask via the ISU Facebook account. I know the person who runs that and she's pretty good at getting things to the right people.

I will have the wife ask her co-worker. Son said it was a 4 week turnaround before break. Holidays probably slowed things up. Sons roommate had his last two inperson classes go online 2 weeks into class. Figured they would have better understanding of what they are doing by second semester.

I'm alive, just have had a super busy 2020 strangely enough. Got covid at one point, and married at another (thankfully now mrs tall never caught it even though we never isolated which is a whole nother story). Hope everyone is doing well and has a better 21 than 20.

I let lots of people know of my ABs that I would have been around in close quarters when I would have likely had it/been contagious and no one to my knowledge got it. Very strange.

Been debating resuming grad school. Do I continue with MBA though or switch to MSL?

Without divulging too much, I found out I was exposed on a Wednesday via news reports on Friday and contacted my supervisor. Had no symptoms and the risk of transmission was super low social distancing and masks in play. Still was advised to get tested. Contacted health provider who said they wanted to test me Saturday even though I didn’t meet guidelines due to exposure time and how many confirmed people I was exposed to. Took test and Saturday night developed a cough but thought it was psychosomatic so nbd. Wife agreed and Sunday morning got negative result. Sunday night fever started and Monday sore throat. Contacted provider who said I could retest for 72 hours but they wanted me to retest, still felt like a cold so nbd. Told bosses who told be likely just a cold but continue to observe symptoms and telework as able (was exposed at work). Wednesday morning get positive test and lose smell and taste. Very short of breath on stairs and taking dog out but feeling back to normal by Sunday. Sunday night pop a 104 fever that takes about three hours to go down with Tylenol, MIL is nurse and we are talking with her about going to hospital. Fever remains around 100-101 for next five days with Tylenol. Then start feeling better. Took about two months to feel 100%. Wife and I decided that because of the negative test and not quarantining she probably has it so what’s the point of doing it now. She got tested 2x first Friday and second Friday both negative, never had symptoms.

This is what I found "A Master of Studies in Law (M.S.L.)"
I've been out of it for a while - MSL: Master of Science...L?

Masters of Strategic Leadership

Via Google and a Grand Canyon University website.

" When it comes to what makes these programs different, the MBA focuses on the tactical components of business such as finance, marketing, and accounting. While the MSL also covers these business processes, it incorporates strategic thinking, ethical development, and people development strategies. "

Did you check for ABs?

Perhaps your wife had it some other time earlier even before mid-March so had protection.

As my wife has it currently so I am waiting to get it. Got tested but waiting for the result. Regardless we are on quarantine until the 29th.

That’s what I wondered, but we did not get tested for antibodies. At this point we are both just waiting for vaccine. I am group 1-B when we get more doses in MN. She is 100% telework.

Did not know you were back in Minnesota. Hopefully we will again have gamewatches next fall. Not sure our favorite haunt is going to survive all of the closures though, was touch and go businesswise even before Covid.

And, as Cowgirl used to say, totes jelly of your 1-B. Hoping to get mine by Memorial Day and hopefully not be waiting come 4th of July but I am not optimistic on the timetable.

Game watches will be a nice return to normalcy. I hope they can have a better rollout proton MN then we have seen in other states.
