Hey Chaser, Root from Persons of Interest is showing up on the CBS show All Rise.
All of the blathering in those threads isn't going to make a spit of difference in who our AD hires. It's not like a bunch of no-donor anonymous CF posters are going to vote for an array of choices and than have another run-off election where we all vote and Jamie just announces the winner and peoples choice.
Sounds like Prohm insisted on the deal sounding like a "mutual agreement" thing, rather than a firing. Wonder if that cost him part of his buyout?

First interview is done. It felt like they dropped some positive hints, but it's so hard to know.

My annual review is today, cameras on. If you have some spare hope I'd appreciate it. I know these events should not have surprises - in either direction - and yet my recent ones almost always have.

I remember in the old factory when we did annual reviews. Every year, I thought "this guy said the exact same thing last year, didn't he?" They gave us copies when the plant closed, and sure enough, he copied and pasted it each year.

Reviews were a pain...but mostly during the last 7 years I was there.
My last boss was told by our department admin asst that she needed to remember to say at least ONE positive thing in every review, even with bad employees. With the old system, and previous bosses, I averaged >9 overall (out of 10). This one though...
Her "positive comment" to me was "you are the most punctual person I have ever met."
Yeah...she would wander in around 9.30a, take a 2 hr lunch, and leave around 3.30-4.00. How the hell would she even KNOW I'm punctual???
Side note: I was VERY dependable for being on time to work, and meetings, and other stuff. Now, not so much!
Good luck on your review. The bad news is, it's happening. The good news is, there shouldn't be another one for a full year.

You were thinking of my head.....it's true there's not much there, but I have lots of hair in other places. I'll leave it to your imagination.
Just found out a guy I knew committed suicide Saturday night.
I haven't seen him in the last year so I have no idea what was going on outside of what a couple people have told me.
