How will any recruit look at that and say ya I wanna be part of it?

Some people just like to be in the spotlight. And some of these blue blood schools that have all the glitz and glamor may be very appealing to these kids. That LSU video looks like a dedicated room just for that purpose of shooting these videos.

Has a serious 'Johnny Be Good' visit to UCC vibe.

Didn't realize he was pushing his signing until Feb. Guess he's gone.
This all depends if LSU has guys they still want at DE. If they are going after others that helps us. If they are slow playing him with a non commitable offer, that helps us.

Either way I hope it's clear he's like their 6th guy they wanted at LSU at that position. that's why they have joined the party this late. I would hope that matters some. Who knows we will see.

Way up there
Purdy didn’t.

Purdy didn't commit and then open things back up though. He was a late bloomer due to an illness, if I recall. Not that comparable with whats going on with Thomas.

We could get the kid but my feeling is that he's looking for something specific somewhere else. If that doesn't come through, he'll come here.

Who can blame the kid (not saying anyone is) - he had good offers when he committed to us but as a FL kid, just recently he's picked up offers from FL and LSU. I'm sure those are dream offers and good on him for saying that he needs more time to think it through rather than rushing to sign two weeks after receiving those. Absolutely want him on board and think he could play immediately, but even without him this is still the best class ISU will have had. Let's hope he and his teammate Moten are the cherry on top, but life goes on just fine if not.
