Purdy stat tracker

The great quarterbacks seem to rack up those come from behind drives. Brock is proving he can do it against UNI and now Texas. Almost against OU and Baylor. I think he learns from the mistake against OSU and the next two years should be real special.

Freshman Breece Hall reminds me a lot of freshman Mike Warren. Let's just hope Sophomore-Senior Breece Hall doesn't mirror Soph-Senior Warren as well.

I liked Warren but he never struck me as the best athlete on the field, hall does it all, Warren was a system back (as his last 3 years proved). Hall is the real deal, the only comparison between the 2 is they both played as frosh, otherwise, Warren isn't in Hall's league.

I don't know. I think at least 2 TE are NFL caliber. Knipfel, Jones, Pettway, will all get their shots as well but probably in undrafted free agent..Hall is certainly NFL talent IMO assuming he keeps growing in a natural progression with age.

Knipfel deserves a shot. Also, it would be really nice to see one of our linemen drafted after a long drought.

Wasn't Mike committed to Campbell at Toledo? Can't imagine it was that big of a transition for him.

I definitely agree but what I meant was that Bama and Ohio State are always full of high round draft picks. I could see Kolar being a 2nd or 3rd rounder and Jones maybe going late. Hall will probably be drafted in a few years and Shaw has some potential.

I liked Mike, good kid, stayed in school supported his team mates. Probably would have gotten a lot more carries if it wasn't for a guy that may be the best RB in school history showing up.

Hall is in a whole different category than MW. Bigger, stronger, better vision and one heck of a blocker. Catches the ball better too.

Mike Warren was at the KU game Saturday. Sat a couple rows ahead of us.

No. It was Mike Warren. Rhoads hires Louis Ayeni who recruited Warren to Toledo, and Warren followed Ayeni to ISU. Campbell was hired two years later.
Not sure he committed to Toledo I do remember him saying he was recruited by them though.

*****Updated after Kansas******
Record holder for most passing yards in a season with 3575 (passed Seneca for 1st in KU game)

Record holder for TD passes in a season with 26 (passed Todd Bandhauer in the Texas game)

Tied for 1st for most TD passes in a game with 5 (Bandhauer and Steele Jantz)

Total offense in a season: Record holder with 3843 yards (Passed Seneca in KU game)

1st in total yardage in a single game

Tied for 1st for total touchdowns in a single game (6-Brett Oberg)

3rd in Career total TD’s (55-behind Arnaud and Meyer) Needs 3 to pass Arnaud and 8 to pass Meyer. This is nuts, those guys were 3 and 4 year starters.

3rd in career passing yardage : 5825 (behind Austen Arnaud and Brett Meyer, needs 3674 to overtake Meyer).

4th in career total yardage: 6401 (behind Richardson, Arnaud and Meyer) Needs 4021 to be overtake Meyer.

Am I the only one that said "Richardson????". Man I would think Sage or David Archer would be up there. Then again they both played with Great lines and great running backs and were mostly a running game. So I guess that stats show that.
