I like the idea of using the stadium for a pro women's team too, but just wish it wasn't going to be run by Krause.

Even with reader mode, I couldn't get past the first couple of paragraphs. So in what leagues are they hoping to compete? For that matter what league for the men's team?
I guess that is good. Hope he comes up with the other 22 million on his own.
So they sold kum&go for 2 billion (supposedly), why doesnt he just use 1% of that to finish the deal?
I guess that's why he's the billionaire and I'm not, he knows how to beg for the taxpayers money and use as little of his own money as possible.
I was all on board with him 15 years ago or whenever this was first announced but selling off my beloved kum&go and then disappearing to Europe and still asking for public money has really left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus he'll probably call it "Iowa FC" or something stupid and pick black and gold since he's an iowa fan.

This is the current design they've been using. I don't know if it is just temporary.

I had an internship with his stadium foundation in 2001...been a bit more than 15 years that he's been trying to get someone to build this for him.
