That was hard to watch. Yikes. Also don't think your getting Rogers. LCFC has really given him the keys to the car, and he will be able to go as far as it will take him. Kroenke would be a massive boss downgrade. If he ever sells the team Arsenal is the second best job in England once more. But that has to happen.

Ornstein has already said Rodgers is staying put at LCFC.

Arteta seems to be set to take over after Pep departs.

Allegri doesnt want to take over anywhere until summer and has concerns about the squad.

Ljunberg is considered to be highly regarded at Arsenal but there is serious concern that he is not ready for a top 6 job.

Poch has said hes open to taking the job, but many believe his desire is MUFC and is using this as leverage to hurry them into a decision.

In other words the whole thing is a mess right now, per usual for Arsenal.

The last 8 years of Arsene set us back so far. We’re coming to the modern football machine a decade after every other big club. We’re in Kindergarten when it comes to how transfers are done and how managerial changes are done in the modern game. LFC, Chelsea, Manure, MC all ahead of us in that regard. It’s going to be a down time for the next few years at least.

The only thing that can save us is someone like Martinelli becoming the next Luis Suarez.

Agreed with everything except United. They still have only one person leading the charge on transfers with no Technical Director position. And it shows every transfer window.

Arsene's refusal to accept help in that regard killed us. We've brought in players from all 7 continents. How anyone thinks they can manage a football club then make nearly every decision regarding transfers and scouting is beyond me. Theres at least three full time positions within what he took on himself.

Btw for those in this thread: the best decision I made was subscribing to The Athletic. Their coverage of the Premier League is hands down the best I've seen

The difference between us and Manure is that they have unlimited funds. In theory they will eventually buy themselves the right manager and right players so the pressure to get their setup right isn’t as great.

Tall task. How big are his teeth and his appetite for human flesh?

That Spurs team is loaded with talent across the board. A much better team on paper compared to Man U. They looked like **** yesterday. Harry Kane was nowhere to be found. Son was MIA as well. Lucas Moura nothing. The only one who did anything was Dele Alli. Its a disaster waiting to happen

James Pearce (@JamesPearceLFC)
As long as he passes his medical, Takumi Minamino will become a #LFC on January 1. Borussia Mönchengladbach, AC Milan and Manchester United among those beaten to his signature.
Fee of £7.25 million - effectively what Liverpool banked for selling Ryan Kent to Rangers.

Also less than the fee Besiktas is paying for Karius.
