If you watched the USC the other night you would know that he had zero time to throw - and 2 OL went down with injury in first quarter. He was running for his life the whole time. No QB would be good in that spot.
He's a top draft pick for a reason. You can't convince me that Park is as good as someone that will be picked too 5 in the draft. NFL scouts know way more than I do.
When you were watching iSu versus Texas...did you think Park had time to throw? Did you think the OL did a good job? Because Park and Darnold, both played the same Texas defense. Both struggled. One had a run game and a little better offensive game plan.
I did watch the game. I also watched Darnold vs Wyoming. Darnold vs Texas and Darnold vs Cal. I know that Danrold has had multiple poor games. Some where he has had time and some where he has had no time.
It is confusing to me how you give Darnold a pass because he was under pressure but then claim Park is worse, because he struggled under pressure.
Like I pointed out...I think Darnold is another in the line of overrated USC QBs. I have also thought USC was greatly overrated. Looks like I was right.
Like I said...I am basing my opinion off this year. Darnold just turns the ball over too much.
Like I said...I am basing my opinion off of the college game. I would take Lamar Jackson as a QB over Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold is the better pro prospect. I would take Baker Mayfield over Sam Darnold. Darnold is a better pro prospect. The Pro game is not he college game.
So you can continue to ignore what Darnold has done on the field this year or what he hasn't done and go with"he is a top NFL prospect" I will look at what he does on the field which has not been good 9 TDs to 8 INTs. INT in every game. 3 multi INT games. He has also never been asked to carry the load with only one game where he attempted more passes than USC had run attempts(Texas).
