The first 15 minutes or so are pretty good and then it turns into some sort of buddy dramedy

Ah, my local movie reviewer weighs in! Thanks. I was tempted to pop to a theater but will probably wait.

My takeaway from the trailer is that Elle Fanning should cut her hair to the short style she sports in this movie. I really liked her as a kid star in Super 8 and thought she might end up being an adult star but she's not ever been in anything since that might appeal to me. Thought maybe this would.

I wish they'd just keep going through different time frames/eras.

Elle Fanning is outstanding in The Great, but that show isn’t for everybody.

The movie has gotten good reviews. I rarely go to theaters so I doubt I'll get to this one, but I really liked Prey and Killer of Killers and its my understanding this is directed by the same person who did those.

Leaving the predator as a mysterious force hell bent on hunting is what was awesome. Never really cared to think about if they had feelings. Humanizing them seems weird.

I’ll watch the movie and will probably enjoy it for what it is, but it won’t fit into my predator universe most likely.

I didn't even know Prey existed until I tripped over it on a streaming platform. It's easily one of my favorites from the franchise.
