Hate on me if people want. Speaking of Charmin soft…anyone complaining about Iowa players celebrating after baskets are also soft.
Our guys were very animated during the comeback and I saw Cujo at least twice give the fans on the sidelines the business after 3’s. It’s a high level collegiate basketball game. Let the players show emotion no matter what the team. It’s not a big deal and the fact there are multiple posts about it is cringe worthy.
Honestly it should be in the game plan when over there to get off at least one shot from that spot, just knowing how they'd react.
100%. one team was used to being physical and other team acted like they didn't know they were playing a contact sport.
That was the #1 sign that if their lead dwindled they would cave. They knew they had to go off on ISU to have a shot at the end.
You could tell this was his first time in a "big" game. I didn't see anything wrong with his emotion, but it was clear he was carried away in the environment. Kind of a "just happy to be here" look on his face.
Iowa basketball is starting to give me some UNI vibes. A bunch of try hard Iowa kids who feel slighted not getting offered by the Premier program in the state and playing out of their minds in one game.
I texted a hawk associate of mine that I would tackle Freeman on the court and it would be worth the ejection. What a tool.
lol. No one is complaining. I personally thought it was great. They weren’t locked in on the game, they were locked in on what it would be like if they won the game.
There was at least twice where he shoved our players in the back with two hands to get the rebound and nothing was called.
This you? Maybe not complaining but you definitely made it a point to bring it up multiple times.
His efforts at being Hassel just don't land IMO
I agree, I don't have issues with the celebrations. We loved Naz Long. To me, it was more just a sign of their lack of experience. The looks on their bench were "holy ****, how are we doing this, we're going to win". Our celebrations were confident but not over the top or theatric. Our bench, on the other hand, is always a bunch of goofs, but that's the sign of a good team. If your bench isn't engaged, there's an issue.
Flopapotomus. Watched some replay. Those fouls are charity given to the hoks out of pity for a bad acting job
