Possible huge snow storm next week?

I bet I can make that dark spot over Lincoln move by buying a new snowblower this weekend.

We probably have to do that in a year or two as our supply of teenagers to shovel will be dwindling. They really aren't buying my argument that they don't need to lift if they shovel anymore.

Hopefully they won't move it. Suck it up and brave it.

They probably won't move it if the teams and officials are all in town already and able to move it.

That being said, it'll be missing a lot of fans. I love ISU basketball, but getting stuck in a 12" whiteout blizzard sounds like the opposite of fun.

When I was a kid we walked 20 miles one way through blizzards and tornadoes, just to get home to our measly, flea-infested log cabin. Some of us died along the way BUT WE LIKED IT!

I never walked through snow storm to school but I sure as hell am not letting a snow storm make me miss an ISU home game.

Cyclogenesis latest update says Lincoln to Omaha will get 20 inches, Des Moines around a foot and it's gonna be bad...really bad. He thinks there is no way the refs make the game on Tuesday. If they can't get there on Monday night, the game will no doubt be postponed.

First time I've ever been jealous of people living in Lincoln.

It's OK. They take great care of that parking lot, so I'm sure there won't be any issues with parking.

Yeeesh...

And I always thought it was going to be the zombies that did me in. Freaking snow?

Unbelievable. 'Twas good to know you all.
