Pop ups are too much.

Agreed. I do occasionally use mobile but just the Samsung Internet explorer that comes with the android system and the worst I get is just a video ad that might take up 20% of the bottom of the screen before X'ing out of it.
This is my current experience. Ads constantly blocking the bottom, including the post box. X-out, type a few letters, maybe a couple words, new ad pops up. Repeat.

It's funny how even when enough people complain there is a subset who turn into principal skinner and think it is the kids who are wrong.

While typing this, I had to dismiss 4 ads that directly interrupted my typing.

Android Chrome with AdGuard, no ads but I turn it off to support the site when it's tolerable. Been on for a long time...

I keep getting this full page Adobe ad that blocks me from clicking on anything other than the "like, quote and reply" button on posts. It won't even let me click on the side bar, so I have to use the back button. I get ads, and purposely turn off the ad blocker for CF to support my miniscule ad rev contribution, but not when they make the site unusable. It's gotten to the point where I'm about to turn it back on.

And before anyone says get Premium, I'm a Patreon subscriber.

Its worse than the pop ups you get from porn sites and that's saying something.

I run an adblocker on my desktop but probably browse CF more on my phone, and have not tried very hard to block ads there for the sake of providing some support of the site. My expectations/demands for a free site are relatively low, but since someone else already started this thread I'll mention two things I find really annoying.

1) Recurrent popup in lower right, which covers a big chunk of screen and is basically impossible to close. Or at least it's a crapshoot whether it closes, takes you to some ad company info page, or clicks through to the ad destination. I think this was a relatively recent addition--maybe a month ago or so? May have coincided with overall site update but I was thinking it started a bit later.

2) Things that move around as the page loads. This one is not isolated to CF, and annoys the everloving heck out of me anywhere I experience it, because I invariable click on something but the page shifts as I touch the screen so it registers as a click on something completely different than what I wanted. It's been years since I've really been down into nuts and bolts stuff of coding websites, but I thought having element size parameters defined such that any slower-loading elements didn't make things move around was web design 101.

I'm using Chrome on Android. I also have experienced the full page-covering ads others mention (that I assume is probably some malicious code from an ad vendor getting through rather than intentional on the part of CF) but it's relatively infrequent and hasn't been a huge deal to refresh.
