I'm a fan. A win-lose, high-low, every day is a good day to be a cyclone (but some days are better than others) fan... but for the life of me I have no idea how we're favored in this game. That said...

Just curious- I know that we have special heated and cooled sideline benches and helmet rests on our side but does the opposing team's sideline have the same setup? I know that both sides will have heated tents and space heaters.
Do I think we should be the better team here, yes. Are we? I feel like no. At this point in the season we are who we are. A team with lots of potential who spends most of it finding ways to trip over their own dicks. Give me Taco Tech.
If TCU were a machine like other top teams I'd veer away from this but I bet ISU has a chance late there.

Maybe if Tech gives up and mails it in on defense the last quarter and a half, like WV did.
Well really it was more the last quarter which all started with the roughing the kicker call.
This particular game has a lot of variables. The team that does not regress to their mean performance will win. It can all change in one key play. The cold has a way of crushing resilience if things go against you. We'd like to think and prefer Iowa State has an advantage in such a situation.
They also think we have an offense. None of that is true.
We have an offense; however, it only appears to be available for 1-2 drives per game.

Fully agree. With a few fumbles, interceptions or blocked punts it seems we can easily lose this one by 3 pts or less.
I've been a Clone fan since the 60's, but hard to be optimistic with this current version.
