Poll: Grade the season

B....Need 10 wins and top 15 ranking for A. That being said, boy was it a fun season. Expectations will be crazy and a 7 regular season wins next year will bring dissension on this board. Hopefully,we get atleast 8 regular season wins and a bowl win. Otherwise, I fear some may dust off their nut cups.

That's probably another good thread...what are everyones expectations for next season? I think 8 wins should be the expectation.

Takes a fool to argue down an 8 win season.

Not arguing with an 8 win season, it's really good. But an A for 5 losses? Let's not revert to snowflake grading where showing up is a C, winning some is a B, and 5 losses is an A.
I'm with coach, let's set the bar higher.

Finish off Iowa and Kansas State and its and A. I voted B, but should have added the plus. OU and TCU were so damn great.

In August, I posted a 7-5 regular season record. Thus we met the expectations I had. I did not have us beating OU or TCU, but I also did not have us losing to UI or KSU. To me, a B is meeting expectations, but I gave a B+ because of the top 5 wins. Beating IU or KSU along with the two top 5 wins would have been an A. I do not count the bowl win or lose. If we would have won the KSU game, we would not have played Memphis, but likely someone much better. I stand by my B+ and hope for an A season in 2018. Winning 8 this year was great, and I hope we win more next year. The wins are there, we just have to follow the process.

Getting Bowl eligibility is an automatic B, winning the Bowl is an A, and beating Oklahoma makes it an A+.
