Players Era

Only gamblers cared. I'm glad Milan didn't hoist up some stupid 3 at the buzzer.
Agree on the second sentence, but the first is simply incorrect. It had no affect on gambling outcomes. It affects tomorrows matchups.

Problem is the guy that started this, said he is not going to change the system even at 32. Which is idiotic if that turns out to be the case.

It’s really not that big of a deal. They obviously aren’t going to hold a 32 team tournament. It’s three pretty good opponents for everyone in the field, and a chance for the players to make money. The teams and players know the rules and what they need to do for the championship. It’s clearly caused a lot of engagement and interest, which is what they want.

I mean, its called "Gambling".

If you want to Gamble, then you have nothing to cry about if you lose.

If you cant handle or afford to lose you should not gamble.

Gambling to make money is not a sound retirement plan.
Do you actually know anyone who bets on sports as part of their retirement planning? I bet you don’t.

They just kinda announced the champ games on TV.

Seems like no pods confirmed.

So if its pods, then zags and tenn are q and 2 on that side, and mich and isu are 1 and 2 on the other.

So zags v mich and isu v tenn.

Id be lying about wanting to play a physical team like tenn after 2 games in 2 days down Tamin. Sounds like a recipe for pain.

If its pods.

Not sure. I saw an article that said when it goes to 32, there will be a round of on campus games and then teams come to Vegas for a bracketed tournament.

Sorry, I thought you posted in a public forum. My mistake I didnt know I was reading your private messages to him. I must have logged into your account by accident.
Hey man, you can post whatever you want. It just didn't have anything to do with my question to Curt. I asked him if he hated gamblers. I'm not sure what your post has to do with that unless you are arguing your points justify hating gamblers. Was that your point?

It might work out ok, if they at least add a couple games, because just 2 games with that many teams is going to be even worse than this. There just are too many ties in this format.

And at that a system that pays more to the top 4 teams needs to figure out a system that works better and is more fair, either that or give all teams equal or bonuses to more etc.

The official X account is getting destroyed on all their posts about this tourney and the format. I see almost no one that likes it, or thinks it is fair in any way.

Im glad for the good matchups, but the system paying more to some because of who they played or run up the score on sucks.

Nope, but I do know some that think they are going to win. That get upset when they lose.

If you are trying to have fun, great, if you are trying to make money, thats on you.

If you spend more than you can afford to lose, expecting to win, that is your problem.

I have no problem with gambling, I like to hit a casino too now and then, but if I lose that is my own fault.

Dude if you didnt want anyone to comment on your post, and you only wanted to hear from Curt on your question, there is a little link up in the corner to send him a private message. Then you dont have to worry about anyone else answering your question out of turn.
