Will Dave Andrews help with filling out the skinny arms and shoulders of the ISU BB team? As I watched specifically Baylor beat us in the second half, we do not match up physically with them. Seems we can do better to develop, Conditt, Bolton, Lewis, Halliburton and all players reach their potential. Certainly this will also help players compete a full 40 minutes. May not help with ball handling, but at least make players bigger and stronger.

Men's basketball has their own exclusive strength coach already: Pete Link. He used to be the women's bb strength coach.

Conditt’s gotten noticeably bigger. Bolton has hardly been here. Lewis is built just fine for b-ball player. Haliburton will lift more when he’s um, playing in the NBA.

Could definitely stand to recruit some bigger guys but there are always trade offs.

#1 Baylor is exactly who we should be comparing ourselves to. They are there, we are going in the opposite direction. Physicality is part of the equation for success.

Our best teams in history had some absolute units: Hogue, Ejim, Kane, Tinsley, Fizer, Horton. Need some more bulls built like that to compete with the big dogs

Some of our best teams also had Will Clyburn, Monte Morris, Julius Michalik, and on and on. It’s basketball. All Different body types succeed in this sport; Short, tall, super tall, fast, plodding, jacked, skinny.

Some of them were also skinny when they got here. Fizer is a good example.

Why can't we borrow a football strength coach?

There are some really good players like those listed above, but I'll go with Hogue, Ejim, Kane, Tinsley, Fizer, & Horton.

Stevie Johnson slid over to the football team after his eligibility ran out on the hard court.

Not everyone's body is able to pack on dense muscle as easily as some people can. Conditt for sure has bulked up, Tyrese looks better but still has a ton of room to grow into his frame. It's also harder for guys with long arms to lift heavy. That's a long ways to move a bar when you're 6'8''.

I wouldn't consider Solo, Jacobson, Zion, or Lewis small by any means. Conditt has put on 25 pounds since getting to Ames. Heck even Tre and Grill have added nice muscle mass since the summer.
