Since I now live in the glorious state of Kansas (sigh), I've decided to represent ISU by getting vanity license plates with some sort of clever ISU/Cyclones phrase on them. I have a couple ideas (EXCYTED for example), but would love to get some input to get a truly awesome one. Since I'm in Kansas, I doubt too many of them will be taken - hopefully, anyway! Just like Iowa, they have to be 7 letters/numbers/spaces or less, and no vulgar/lewd/obnoxious stuff (as much as I would love to put KU SUX on the back of my car, i don't think it would fly).

how about

big8chmp

That would really stick it to KU fans, that ISU will forever be the big8 champs!

Hate to rain on the parade but living in Kansas I could see them easily trying to turn that into big 8 chump, but then you could say that is why the plates say Kansas on the top!

I'm a huge fan of the BIG8CHMP - props and +rep to Brianhos. At first, I thought of the "chump" idea as well, but I dunno. Also, it's too many letters and i'd have to take out the I. It's a thought though - keep 'em coming!

how about b8champ

I also like 4vrbig8. I love the big8, there were actually rivalrys back then.

With a Kansas plate I think you almost have to have something ISU or CY in the letters. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Just my $.02 but if you put big8chmp on a Kansas plate I'm going to think you're referring to KU being the champ.

There will be an ISU frame around it, just for added clarity. I think FT 3 FT is good too, but people down here are too dumb/won't remember/etc. That and I don't want to be reminded of it every time I see my car.

FT 3 FT

For the younger crowd/non-midwesterners growing up crowd, could someone enlighten me as to the meaning of FT 3 FT? I'm guess Free Throw 3 pt Free throw steming from a game in which we beat the Jayhawks, but I'd like the blanks filled in thanks

If 24 takes me out of the "younger" crowd I'm gonna be depressed.......

Anyway, FT 3 FT refers to a game 2(??) years ago in Allen Fieldhouse. ISU was on the line for 2 free throws. We missed the first, and their guys grabbed the ball and took it down the court and shot an uncontested 3. Keep in mind that they never took the 3 pointer away, and we lost the game 92-90.

So you can see why I want no reference of this on my automobile.

It was the game where there was a 2 shot free throw, ISU shot the first one, KU rebounded, ran down the court, shot a 3 pointer, even though it was a 2 shot foul. The refs did not know what to do because they were flippin retards, so they awarded KU the 3 pts, and gave ISU another free throw. KU got 3 pts out of it, when they should have gotten a technical foul.

Biggest joke I have ever seen, well that and the double foul.

I get the advantage of not even having a Kansas plate! I haven't registered in Kansas yet so I still have the straight up cardinal and gold iowa state license plate that says leg4isu. I LOVE the weird looks I get.

How about this one:

ROK CHOK

As a take off on their "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" chant and as a commentary on KU's historical performance in the NCAA tournament. May get some feedback on the road over that one.
