Too bad football ended so badly after the Texas game. Basketball (m & w) and wrestling look like long years ahead. Football coaches really under performed this year. Too much Brock Purdy hype and STUPID play calling in short yardage especially. With 6" to go, why snap the ball 7 yards deep? We need to line up under center some of the time all season. I am so tired of the shotgun only and one back offense. There is no deception at all and the running back always takes the hand off standing still instead of forward momentum like I-formation plays. Also tired of needing whole month of September to experiment. What is preseason practice for? We all pretty much knew we would get waxed after the way we finished season in Nov. Was JGJ actually hurt or was it smoking pot as has been suggested on CF.? Also tired of hearing how close we were to 10-2. We were just as close to 5-7 and no bowl game.
We had a senior transfer QB & a Redshirt Freshman QB as backups. Why not give them a shot if Purdy was injured. His chance to be the started happened when he got a chance. But if you take away his scrabbling he isn't as effective. Why have backups if they don't get a chance in the game?

Analogy?

Rewatch the K State game and see if JGJ left the field after smoking pot or if he left the field after getting injured.

I'm still waiting for the analogy. Don't leave me hanging!
A troll is like someone trolling for bites on their fishing line or someone that lives under the internet bridge...

Take your pick of analogies and choose which one is perfect for the OP.

Also, why do braindeads keep blaming our losses on Purdy? He's by far and away the best QB we've had in many years... as a sophomore. I'll never get this viewpoint. Stats don't bear that out, eye-test watching the game doesn't bear that out, literally nothing points to our deficiencies being at QB. Nothing at all.

This is a pretty obvious troll. This person basically just summarized all the stupid crap we have been talking about on the boards the last week.

Sneaks aren't a guarantee either being in the gun forces the D to defend the entire line of scrimmage where under center and they can slam the As and Bs. Best to turn the volume off when watching the game they usually don't have a ******* clue either.

Easier than actually thinking about it. Most of these sharpshooters have been on here for 5+ years with nary a post. Can't really expect them to understand much more than what they read in a 30 second headline.
