#1 Key lime pie. #2 My aunt made killer apple pies the crust was dreamy. Perfect balance of tart and sweet/cinnamon and not runny. Pecan pie is hit and miss some I’ve had was really good with balanced flavor, most just way to sweet.
AMEN!!!!!! Apple pie was my favorite growing up and stores don't use granny smith apples. Those pies suck and have no tartness at all!Too many apple pies are too sweet as well. You need a tangy apple with the right amount of sugar to balance it out.
I've about given up on store bought or restaurant apple pie. Seems like cherry is a rising star for me.
Pumpkin if that's all there is. Then it needs an equivalent volume of cool whip to pie.
