Yes. Unless we play in a tournament in France or the Ivory Coast, he could get paid something while there.

The pregame Purdue podcasts I listened to all undervalued Heise in my opinion.

Honestly most of the fanbase here does too. He's the least talked about piece of all the guys in the rotation. I think he's key especially on defense

Now that I've thought about it a while, I think Painter's compliments of Nate Heise were dual purpose. One, because Nate is a guy who could start almost anywhere and star at most places, and he was all over the floor making winning plays, and two, because he wanted to send a message to some of his own role players that he wants them to be like that.

Heise knocked a fast break pass down that was going out of bounds. A normal person would have tried to save to it a teammate but Heise threw it to a Purdue guy standing right there and it made him crumple up like a little kid afraid to catch a pass. That had to make Nate chuckle on the inside cause it was funny.
