My only issue is that OU is gonna have an ax to grind and then they'll gonna crush us 40-7
Well yeah they'll have an axe to grind, and they may even put up 40 on our defense. Do you think we'll only score 7 on their defense? Do you think it impossible for us to score 40 or more on them?

Both SP+ and FEI, which rate teams on play-by-play and drive data, have ISU and Baylor both as better teams than Texas, OUs best opponent to date.

I’m not. I want the Big 12 Championship Game.
Does Oklahoma losing 1 game really help if it’s not against us? I guess at this point there’s no sneaking up on them next week whether they win or lose today.

ISU hasn't been sneaking up on anyone since 2017. Like it or not, we're a team that has a target on our backs now.

If you're KSU I think you have to go for it and step on OU's throats. Can't get a foot?

You might be right. It's interesting. During the Colts/Chiefs game a few weeks ago on Sunday night there was a 4th and short call for the Colts, and before the play the showed the next gen stats or whatever that showed that by punting the Colts' chances of winning actually decreased more than they would have by going for it and not getting it. I'd be curious to know how reliant Klieman is on analytics and advanced stats like that or if he just went conservative in that moment because most football coaches do when presented with that scenario.

Yeah, if they have an axe to grind then that's their problem, along with their leaky-ass defense. Iowa State isn't a get-well game for anyone anymore. OU can stew over this one all they want.

This game is just making me more upset about the Baylor loss. Of course everything makes me upset about the Baylor loss.
I know....I do a lot of "woulda, couldas" with sports....but dang, had we shown up for three quarters we likely are sitting stop the big 12....we control our own destiny to the title game.

That was an interesting inside kick. As it was kicked, it curved a little. However, it looks like OU touched it when it took it's bounce upfield.
