OU game in Norman

I am going to my first and only game in Norman with my son. My tickets just came in and I'm in row 68 of section 20. I paid extra for "lower" tickets. I don't know how many rows are in section 20, but this screams top of the end-zone.

Anyone else going and get their tickets yet?
Section 20, row 68...seats 21 & 22. Where you parking ?

I was at the 2017 game when Lanning, Kempt, and company shocked Vegas. The OU fans were VERY gracious after that game. Short (5 minute) walk North of Stadium will get you to Campus town (AKA Campus Corner) Lots of bar restaurants there and big congregating place after the game. Norman has lots to offer and OU has a very beautiful campus.

Sat in intermittent rain down there one time, just for another classic "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" effort. Never had a desire to go back.

Seats 11,12, and 13. My son is 6'5" and I'm 6'3", so we should be easy to spot for you. :) I have no idea about parking. We are staying out by the airport. I assume we will find somewhere "close" and Bus, Uber or something else. I have a buddy that lives in the area and I may ask him to drive us in.

Big fan of Norman, sat next to some really nice Season Ticket holders from OU. had a few turd fans, but they were students. They kicked our ass, it was the Mike Warren Freshman Season.

I suppose their are a few nice Sooners. Nuke the stadium after this year, regardless! :D

Edit: Empty the stadium first, of course.

Cheer up. I went two years ago, its was a pretty good time with friendly tailgates. Campus is pretty cool, OU fans like to talk football, enjoyed my conversations in the stadium. The district right near the stadium is a good time, they block it off and have a street party.

I assume they would have been jerks if we won, but that's most road games.
I went 2 years ago as well. The entire Purdy clan was at Logies Friday night. Incredibly nice family.

We went in '21, sat in the first row of 235, on the end. Felt like we climbed forever to get to our seats. Parked at the basketball arena and took the bus. Great experience, probably my favorite of the B12 stadiums I've been to. Had an older guy with a walker call us over to welcome us from a distance. Someone was cutting onions when the OU band played Fights!, I swear. Getting out of the stadium was easy, my youngest counted the stairs going down (~240.) Fans tailgating on the sidewalks back to the bus stop offered food and drinks. Traffic out was pretty bad, took an hour or more to feel like we were moving. Got some Braum's in Wichita, probably the last one going north (and far better than the one we hit in Ft. Worth last year coming back from Austin.) Kind of bummed that I didn't book Norman for the last visit, doubt ISU ever plays there again in my lifetime.

Yeah, that's why I booked this. I really wish we got to go to Austin for a game.

FYI there's a Braums in Topeka. Not sure if there is anything further North.
