I noticed on the OU depth chart released that they have their defense in the Heacock 3-3-5. Don’t recall hearing of that formal change.

OU Depth Chart

Grinch has always been fairly multiple and his aggressiveness and his desire to play fast leads to a 3 down with a hybrid end type of guy. It seems like WSU was a lot of 3 man front stuff.

Hudson is one huge guard ! I don't think I've ever seen a guard that big. on another note, you go two tight end set and we are a very big line.

I feel like when I was in school between 2006-2010, good linemen were like around 310.

Now I know why OU leads the league in rushing every year

They average like 6'5" 330 lbs. Those are earth movers
Stacey Wilkens at LT. I would have felt bad for any dude named Stacey and the crap they would get for it. But at 6’6” 316lbs, I’m guessing he’s fine. Good lord.

I'm sure they have plenty of 4 and 5 star recruits at both of those positions.
Actually, no they don’t. Which was the point of my post. After transfers, opt outs and injuries, this isn’t’t the usual OU stable.
They signed the #1,3, and 11 WR in 2019. They’re fine
And one of those three is out, only one of the many OU players missing due to injury. One of the listed starters is even a small school transfer who started out at Okie State.

Just looking at the depth chart they just released, per 247 rankings:
TJ Pledger - RB. 4 star
Marcus Major - RB. 4 star
Theo Wease- WR. 5 star
Theo Howard - WR. 4 star
Charleston Rambo - WR. 4 star
Marvin Mims - WR. 4 star

No doubt they'll miss guys like Lamb, Sermon, and Brooks, but I think they'll be fine in the long run. Just hopefully after the ISU game:)
