Anyway, most people 6-7 and 280 lbs., out of High School might be trying to get their weight down. Around 230 or 240 might be good for a while.

There's time for that, after Iowa State, and the NFL.

I just smile when I read his recruitment timeline and see "June 8: Commits to Iowa State" followed by "June 19: Official visit to Pitt".

It's like getting engaged to a girl and then 11 days later she goes on a date with another guy (you know, just to make sure she still wants to marry you), but she still expects you to honor the engagement.

I understand that's how recruitment works these days, but it seems like they should use a different word than "commitment".
