I low key hate that we are opening with this game. Especially with Campbell's history of not looking sharp in openers, and those are usually against cupcakes. That said, I love Rocco and what we return and I think we will win.

It will definitely require us to show more in an opener than we would show against a cupcake from a playbook perspective.

Of course it's their first game too. It may come down to who has prepared better both from a scheme perspective and conditioning.

I obviously hope you’re right. It’s a lot to ask but yeah, if you’re right we are in for a really fun year.

Reality is likely somewhere in between, but I like our chances because we have Rocco and other guys that are difference makers. In CFB you must have a QB. For many years before CMC ISU did not. We have a really good one in Rocco. Then it is also important to have guys that can play at an elite level and make plays at key times that win games. I think we have those guys too.
