I’d call this a partial qualifier — during this period, Papa John Creach was a regular member (for a couple of albums). Still, I think somewhat of an outlier in the Airplane/Starship catalog
Somewhat related, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra put out an album of the music of Oasis that was pretty good. Can't find the song out there but the version they did of "Cigarettes and Alcohol" was pretty good.
Ringo was always the Beatle with the biggest draw towards country music. So there are probably several of his cuts with those types of arrangements. This one is my favorite. Could also have been included when we did the whistling theme a while back.
