For this segment, in a late-day observance of Groundhog Day, we explore songs with titles & lyrics that include reference to shadow and shade (and various forms of those words), as well as “hole.” (No, “Whole” does not count).

If the reference isn’t in the title or a significant part of the song, include the line with your clip.

Music by bands with a name that includes the focus words is OK, too.

Shadows of Knight - Remember in the 60's you had to make it a weird name. Like Spiral Starecase.

I heard that the reason the Them version did not get played was because there's a line about 'come up to my room." The Shadows of Knight version changed it. More acceptable for 60's teens who didn't know anything about coming up to another teenager's room... Right?
