Only know this song that was a regional hit in CO from hearing it in the early 1970's while on road trip in the Rockies. Heard it a LOT. Still remember some of the lyrics, especially the refrain.

Edit: Listening to this again I think it would have qualified for the tempo change thread in this music series. Probably why I remember it as it starts so slow.
