I like mine for every day use.

My local shoe store owner said they’ve had a lot of complaints of shinsplints from long time Brooks runners that switched to On.

I'm a loyal Brooks guys when it comes to running shoes and have always been skeptical of On Clouds being legitimate trainers. I can see the appeal for everyday use though, my wife really likes her pair. Then again, I'm usually skeptical about new running shoes when they first hit the market. Hoka has definitely improved a lot over the years and they are one of the big players in the running shoe market now.

Better than my Brooks Ghost 13's? I walk a ton with a toddler and they are very comfy.

By far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I actually returned the 14's as they weren't as comfortable as the 13, IMO
I like the Brooks Beast. They are amazing.

The Shoes like On are no good for me, I'd break my ankle.

I really like my Brooks for my daily walk on an indoor track. My only complaint is that the lining inside the shoe started ripping after a year. The shoes are only worn on the indoor track, so I really baby them and they still look like new, except for the insides.

They aren't really meant to be worn more than a few months if you use them heavily. If you're running the foam loses it's bounce.

My Achilles tendons tend to get sore easily so I bought Brooks running shoes with a high heel to toe drop. It's like walking on a cloud. No more sore tendons.

I am intrigued and would like to try a pair of Hoka, On, or Brooks. Like others its hard cuz I'm so cheap. I've been on a Saucony kick lately, I can get some colors that don't sell on Amazon for like $40. Seem pretty comfy to me.

The sites (On and Brooks) usually have good deals on the previous year’s models.

I was an Asics GT 2000 guy forever and a prof running store put me in some Mizuno Wave Inspire because I need a high stability shoe. Love them but I have narrow feet. Anyone who can't wear Saucony Nike Brooks should give them a go.

They are comfy, but rocks get stuck in then bottom of the shoe far too often.

I hear you.

It wasn't easy for me to spend $100+ for a pair of Brooks running/walking shoes, but I figured that it would be worth it if it increased the amount of walking I do every day.

Looking back, I'm happy I did it.

I've bounced back and forth. Brooks were my go-to for a long time, but they started to hurt my arches on longer runs. I also felt like certain lines switched their fit in recent years and seem narrower than I remember.

My Ons worked for a couple years but I noticed some slippage in the heal after awhile. I'm currently about 8 months into my Hokas and I'm really happy with them so far. I've had issues with shin pain for as long as I can remember and it's dropped significantly since my Hokas.

If you find something that works for you and is cheaper, go for it. I'm envious for those that can.

Duh!

This is exactly what I do. I have been buying Brooks Adrenaline for years (switched to another model for a year and developed Plantar F) and buy the prior years model, each year. However, the '23s haven't come down, so I own a few pairs of '22s. I am a Brooks guy but could be talked into switching, especially with the PF still lingering.

I tried on the Ons a few times before finding a model that was comfortable because they all fit very differently. The ones I found have held up great and I'm really hard on shoes. Trail runners (solomon/merril, etc) and Nike's were always my go-to but now the Nike's seem to fall apart on me. I had a pair of Mizunos before these that were pretty crappy.

I would highly recommend these.

I used to run in Brooks and ASICS. Got fitted into some On CloudMonsters a few weeks back and absolute love them.
