Great win by the Clones last and I have loved to see the depth and shared scoring that we have shown. I'm concerned that Omaha isn't even cracking our top 8? Is he hurt? Paveletzke has shown great moxie and energy out there but I'd have to think Omaha would be a better option both short and long term with his length and athleticism. When is the last time you saw a McDonald's all-american ride the bench? OK, feel free to beat me up and discuss.

At the end of the day TJ owes the same obligation to every guy on the roster. If someone has earned time over Omaha, he should get it. And based on what’s played on out on the floor, that’s been the case. We’ve also seen a guy in Pav go from the bench to 20 mpg in a matter of two weeks. So the opportunity is still there.

Why would this be concerning? It just seems like he isn’t ready yet, which is fine.

Your post makes it seem like you would want Omaha to play completely out of position at a guard spot? Seems dumb. I’m glad you aren’t the coach.

Omaha needs to get caught up mentally. He's at least 6 weeks behind everyone else.

On a positive note, if he does come back next year, National Championship line up with Rock at the 5 and Omaha at the 4.

This hasn’t been discussed yet so I’m glad this thread was started. *sarcasm*

Simply put, we are in win now mode, if someone is a liability or can’t contribute they can’t see the floor. 5 star or walk on.

Omaha didn’t forget how to play basketball over the summer. It’ll come, might be this year it might not.

Basketball season: I'm 5.5 months long, and then like another month of a tournament. Sometimes players take a while to adjust and find their 'ness'.

KU, damn near every year with their bigs. This is being discussed in about every basketball thread.
