Hope the Fuskers collapse into obscurity.
They're already a few steps into that direction.
Think about this - Iowa State has been more relevant in football than Nebraska for the last decade. Who would have ever dreamed that in the 90s.
Hope the Fuskers collapse into obscurity.
The ones that were around when they were relevant still try to cling to the 90's here and there. Most of the people I hang with just hope they can get back to a bowl game.I legit don't think that is the expectation anymore though. Most Nebraska fans have really lowered the bar.
Agree. He's been able to turn around some bad college programs (Temple and Baylor immediately after Art Briles issues) quickly. Plus isn't Nebraska's NIL collective really significant, like the biggest in the nation??IMO if Rhule doesn't turn it around I don't think there is much hope moving forward. People can crap on the guy all they want but Rhule can coach and he's just greasy enough to make it work at Nebby. All things considered, he was a fantastic hire for them.
But beat Iowa every yearHope the Fuskers collapse into obscurity.

Their NIL is Top 5-8. This year is just to get some footing, but I would expect them to improve under Rhule. The issue they’re going to have is the same as Iowa though, they lose the protection of playing in the weakest division in CFB history. That means they’re going to have to be comfortable with a lower ceiling that the 90s.Agree. That’s the Nebraska way, except for being arrested. Devaney ”helped” Johnny Rogers and TO had numerous players who were not arrested. I wonder who he has designated to get the opponents best player tossed from the game.Seeing as he just had a player arrested for burglary, he‘s implemented his system quickly
This. He's a good coach and will get them competitive within a few years. But that B10 West has been so bad that if you have a solid team, you are going 8-4 minimum. They're not going to have that luxury a year from now.Their NIL is Top 5-8. This year is just to get some footing, but I would expect them to improve under Rhule.
