No bye weeks in this conference. Heading to Stillwater this Saturday. Any thoughts on this game?

The pokes have looked really rough around the edges, but just completely dominated OU in the second half last night. They looked way better than they have all year. Every game is tough, but this one might be tougher than I thought 24 hours ago.

Their defense is in the top 4-5% of the country even while their stud 5 star, 7’1” big man Cisse has been injured (entered the game for a few minutes last night - first time playing in a while) but offense has been a struggle.

Watched their game last night and Anderson their shooting guard had really been struggling…until last night. If that confidence carries over and Cisse is able to play more, effective minutes, then it’ll be a dog fight on Saturday. We could easily lose in that scenario.

I didn't watch, but the box score says Cisse played two minutes. Is there any word on wether he will play and how much this weekend? Should be fascinating to see him battle Osun inside.

No road game this year is easy, but I still think we win a close on Saturday. If we just find a way to end the conference year 13-5, that would be pretty amazing.

OSU played emotional against their rival and won. OU gave up with about 8 min left in the game, they were soft.

OSU is the best defensive team we will play in the Big 12. They are also terrible offensively and can have really poor possessions and poor decision making, their D balances that out and makes them competitive.

They have not faced a D like ours and with their struggles offensively, our game should win the day. It’ll be important to take care of the ball and have patient offensive possessions and also to frustrate and turn them over (things we are good at). It’ll be a tough road game but I think we can eek it out.

OSU winning emotionally last night after losing 3 straight is a best case scenario for ISU. But it’ll be a grinder.

Force them into tough 3 pointers deep in the shot clock, box out, and make open threes. We do those three things and we win.

I haven't paid much attention to OSU this year, but the quote above makes me think of our team last year.

they will get their post stud back for our game (of course) but their offense isn't that good.

will be a battle no doubt. glad they won last night though.

I have this thing where i want the team were playing "next" to win their previous game before us.

Probably is safe to say they are a lot like us last year
OSU adj D 7th adj O 133rd
ISU last year adj D 5th adj O 171st.

This feels like a 65-64 win with OSU clanging a shot off the rim at the end while I exhale after a minute of not breathing correctly.

I think this exact same scenario happened last year didn't it? Lol
