Okie Lite Attendance Prediction

10/31
Breakdown 11/2:
Lower West: 117/101
Upper West: 685/936
Lower Endzone: 44/44
Upper Endzone: 17/11
Lower East: 81/49
Upper East: 952/964
Total Available: 1896/2105

And that doesn't count the Oklahoma St. return which you can no longer purchase tickets through their office. Two days ago I approximated that to be around at 950. Adding this to what the ticket office is showing, we'd be sitting at approximately 58500 sold.

I wonder where the returned tickets from the upper deck came from. Anyway. Seems like the seat map is always changing +/-.

Not quite as confident in my original 60k+ prediction. Seems like sales have been slow the last two days.

What's your call on the weather? Looking good for the precip to hold off during the game for the most part?

Top 25 matchup on senior day, that doesn’t happen often in Ames, if ever. It’s going to be packed and loud.

Weather models continue to show dry conditions to start, kick-off temp upper 30's to 40 degrees, South winds 5-10 mph. Chance of showers starts to creep in by 3 PM, but very light if anything. Only downside is not a lot of sun...

I’ve talked to a few people who weren’t going to go but are now coming since the weather forecast has improved; that should help. I’m assuming some of the purple hawk mini pack holders may not be there, but if we can sell out our tickets (even if it doesn’t mean 61,500 actual butts in seats) that will be very impressive. Should be a great atmosphere either way.

Purplehawks need to give those away to the faithful.

Should be fun...probably a late arriving crowd in the parking areas given the chilly start...except the die-hard tailgaters, who will be firing up the grills early. Definitely need the crowd noise like we had with TCU...very impressive!

Anyone want two tickets? I have mobile pass tickets, so I wont know where the seats are until tomorrow.

Gonna get there at 9, eat some donuts and drink coffee (cuz that's what we do for early kickoffs), watch the Cyclones win, then celebrate with a variety of adult beverages after.

For the sake playing along. Currently on Ticketmaster:

10/31 / 11/2 11/9:
Lower West: 117 / 101 / 74
Upper West: 685 / 936 / 211
Lower Endzone: 44 / 44 / 92
Upper Endzone: 17 / 11 / 2
Lower East: 81 / 49 / 40
Upper East: 952 / 964 / 38
Total Available: 1896 / 2105 / 457

This was only counting the available seats in blue that have not been purchased yet. I did not include the verified re-seller tickets in pink. After a quick count looks like about 470 people have tickets up for resale.

The nosebleed seats next to ours are sold for the first time since Iowa game.

Who wouldn't want to come see Allen Lazard and Joel Lanning one last time in JTS, especially if the rain continues to look like it will hold off?

Guessing there will be a lot of cowpokes there too.

They haven't assigned the Mobile Pass tickets yet either. That will take up a big chunk. Unless they have those accounted for somehow.

Are you sure about the mobile pass? I’m pretty sure they’re already allocated. I watched the seatings the last few Home games and my mobile pass tix were already “taken” a few days before the game.
