This whole thing is sad. Feel bad for everybody. Coach is trying to do the right thing but it just blew up on him.
Hard to say not being there everyday, but you got guys that got a lot of minutes last year...and productive minutes, playing behind guys that they are better than, and I think that wears on a team over time.
I mean there are guys on this team, it makes no sense to stay at Iowa State if you are in their shoes. If you are Cam Lard, are you ever going to get minutes here at this point? Wiggington...he had a sore foot for a few weeks and lost half his playing time to two guys that really haven't produced for 6 weeks now.

He’s not transferring. Do you really think he would sit out a year?
If he leaves it will be for the draft.
That team plus Young and Jackson would defeat what we’ve put out on the court the last two games.
The bad/good news is this isn’t a talent issue. That leads to questions about Prohm. While it probably lowers his perceived ceiling, it’s still mostly about talent. He put together a talented enough team to withstand personnel losses and the dysfunction when those players returned. This team is bottoming out and may waste what was a great opportunity, but not all teams will be this much of a cluster ****. Keep getting talent and odds are we keep making the tournament.
Travis Ford left 3 year ago. Cause you know, just like last season was Hoibergs fault since he left Prohm nothing after being gone 3 years, right Cat?
Kinda like last year was Hoibergs fault? I always have found that to be an interesting take on here as well.
I know right. He followed Underwood from SFA for the one year he was there, but Travis ford left him nothing.
I though a bad team is a result from a coach that was there 3 years ago. That’s why last year was a bad year right? You always told us that.
Still a 20 win team.... if the team can come together they can go far. If they don’t it’s going to get worse...
Well at least you’re consistently wrong. And dumb about getting caught not knowing anything.
And yes last year happened because Fred stopped recruiting for 2 whole years before he left, Monte and Matt’s class. Remember when they told Diallo not to sign here because he couldn’t promise he would be here? That was the last hs recruit.
Best to leave Cat alone. He or she was miserable even before the last couple games. We express frustrations differently, and although Cat is too deep in meltdown mode to understand that, I’m guessing you can given your past postings.
Most can understand that there’s truth in the Ford comment. I don’t know if that merits claiming Boyton is doing a good job despite another bad record. Like Prohm he probably took some chances he normally wouldn’t because of the roster pipeline, but the players he kicked off were his guys IIRC. They’ve been inconsistent because his recruiting failures forced him to play freshmen.
I’m not doubting you, but I tried to do a little research on this, and couldn’t find anything. When did this change? Do you have a specific link?

I just love the irony how Prohm gets the excuse and Boynton doesn’t. A lot to be determined if Boynton is good or not. Has a good class coming in, well just see if he totally loses his team next year like Prohm has in February and March.
I really hope Cat is seeking help and taking medication. He/she has a lot of issues in life and is extremely unstable.
