Agreed - but I do think we have a shot against England. Do I think that we are going to beat England? Nope. but I don't think its impossible
Sounds like a mom (Danielle Reyna) who is a little too protective of her adult son and in the process is willing to trash a husband/wife the Reyna's would probably consider as friends for over 30 years.
Domestic abuse is horrible, but this incident happened over 30 years ago and obviously the Berhalter's got beyond it because they are married with 4 kids. IMO if he has no other incidents of abuse, he should be able to continue as USMNT Coach.
There's always two sides, but this statement from his mother does seem genuine. If she simply used Berhalter's incident as rationale for Gio receiving grace after a dumb mistake at a young age, that doesn't seem out of line.
