The thing with our group is it may be solid but aside from England (and yeah they are known to have some real gaffes in this thing) Iran and let’s say Wales don’t scare anyone. Going to have to play well regardless but those two teams are beatable. We can draw England if we play well.

Yeah, we just need to play well and we should get 4 points. Beat Iran, at least draw with the European team, maybe even draw with England. There’s a pretty good chance we could top the group with England playing down to opponents levels quite often

Some people seem to forget this is the World ******* Cup. Yes, some groups will be easier than others, but unless you're one of the 5 best teams in the world there isn't going to be an "easy" group - especially not for a team like the US. I will take this draw, especially with our propensity to get placed in the Group of Death more often than not. This is a group USA can advance from, and if England goes England like they sometimes do in international play, it's a group we can win.

Looking ofrward to the practices friendlies. Wonder who the US will schedule and where they will be played? Italia? Ireland? Austria? Iceland? Sweden? Chile?

100% this. The big key for a team like the U.S. is getting a group that doesn’t have an automatic L for starters. Qatar obviously would have been the dream, but we didn’t get a team like Brazil or
France where I just don’t see a way we would even get a draw minus something super lucky happening. All three squads our guys will face will absolutely be beatable or at worst able to draw. All you can ask for really.

I just read that Argentina will likely play two pre-World Cup friendlies in the USA vs. Mexico and the USMNT. That would be incredible!

Kind of like March Madness, just get in baby. Hopefully we catch fire and make a run.

For those that have been to a USMNT game. How much did the tickets cost you? I’m probably gonna look into going to the friendly against Uruguay.

Very reasonable. Under a $100 for sure. Do it!
This will be my 5th USMNT Game and 2nd @ K.C. (Great Soccer Stadium!)

Let's see, I've seen the USMNT play:

Paraguay @ Lincoln Financial Field in Philly in the 2016 Copa America Centenario
New Zealand @ RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. in 2016 (Friendly)
@ Ireland in Aviva Stadium - Dublin, Ireland in 2018 (Friendly)
Canada @ K.C.'s Children's Mercy Park in 2021 Gold Cup Group play

Cannot wait to see Uruguay in person!

@Kaner04

Go to https://www.ussoccer.com/

You can sign up as insider and have pre-sale access to tickets. There is a free sign-up that will give you early access and notification beforehand too (way to go IMO).

I was able to land a seat today for $75.00 (included the fees through Ticketmaster) for the Uruguay game.

Apologies for not thinking of this earlier.

Let's Go USMNT!

Tickets purchased. I'm hoping for a good turnout. I hate seeing chunks of empty seats for USMNT and USWNT games, even if they are friendlies.

5 friends and myself will be headed to Kansas City. Excited for my first national team game and it’s against a big opponent.
