Also, Beasley HAS to be in the 11. He's been way better than Chandler.

Given that we'll need to be defensively sound, I'll take this starting 11 but sub in Zusi for Bedoya. Zusi and Dempsey can float back and forth between left and right wings since it seems like Klinsy is ok with guys floating around.

Agreed. I think I prefer Zusi over Bedoya as well, but I'm not too partial. Bedoya is solid, too.

That makes no sense. Might as well put in Johannson.

Guaranteed Klinsmann has a certain group game in mind where he thinks this would be a tactical change that could be successful.

edit: looks like Jozy is up top with Dempsey right behind right now.

Altidore doesn't have the skills for that. He's a big powerful striker. His touch, speed, and passing doesn't make him a very good option out there.

Yeah, I have nothing against Bedoya. The kid plays his *** off and willingly helps out defensively out of the midfield. I just think Zusi offers a bit more in attack & with corners & free kicks.

Is anyone else liking this right now?

ETA: Am I the only one hearing Ian pronounce Jermaine as Junior?
