Hey this Christian Pulisic kid is pretty good huh?

Yedlin is night and day better than Zusi.

I get they were resting Cameron for Tuesday, but there isnt a time when he isn't in our top 11 somehow.

Bobby Wood has become a clinical finisher.

Still think there is room on this squad for Danny Williams or Heydeman

Twellman just mentioned Bob Bradley was in camp working with the team this week. That's interesting and cool Bruce brought him in.
Saw last night on twitter (before the game and can't remember from whom now) that Bob Bradley walked out with the team in full warmup gear

Honduras plays Costa Rica today. A Costa Rica win would effectively eliminate Honduras as competition for the US since we have a massive lead in goals on them.

We are now 2 pts ahead of Panama and they play Costa Rica on Tuesday. Let's just freaking win in Trinidad so we don't have to worry about scenarios!

From looking at standings, obviously as everyone has mentioned, win and its a done deal.

If we tie or lose, technically Honduras could beat Mexico and Panama could beat Costa Rica, meaning we're screwed.

The good news is if Panama or Honduras only at best ties, then at worst we'll be in 4th with a 1 game playoff.

Making the WC just makes the next few months that much more fun. The speculation, the revealing of the groups, the roster news. Even if we don't make it out of the group stage, there is still that awesome momentum build up to the matches.

I read some stuff about Yedlin after last game, and apparently he has improved tremendously over last 2 years, solid at Newcastle helping them get promoted last year and now in Premier League again (post Tottenham/Sunderland).

There were some people on twitter arguing if he was best right back in PL. (!!!) I'll be honest, I didn't even remember he played defense, I hazily remembered him as a speedy forward/winger who lost the ball a lot, this article explained my confusion:

Jurgen Klinsmann tinkered with Yedlin’s position - even playing him as a right-forward at one stage - but, now re-established as a full-back under Bruce Arena, the Newcastle defender is thriving on the international stage again.

...but if Yedlin can follow the Hector Bellerin model - really fast, decent defense with runs up the sideline - that sounds great for US attack.

Even a tie pretty much seals the deal for the US. If we get a point, then Honduras and Panama can at best finish tied with the US on 13 points. And the US has a significant lead in goal differential on both which means we'd take the 3rd spot. But I'm on board with the just win the damn game sentiment.

Watching this on Universo. I'd much rather be watching Live than En Vivo, but its this or nothing at all.

On a related note, I really miss Ian Darkes.

I agree that Cameron is our best CB (and probably defensive mid). But I am willing to give Bruce the benefit of the doubt in this case though since Cameron just came back from an injury last weekend.
