Official Sweet 16 Pre-game

Be interesting to see how tight the game is called. Refs let MSU & Duke beat the crap out of each other, a more conventionally called game should have a bunch of Spartans in early foul trouble.

Re: *** UNOFFICIAL ISU vs MSU Pre-Game Gameday Thread ***

Dinner in Ankeny at the Waterfront and then a group will meet at my house for the game....

GO WOMEN!!!

Re Vandy-MD, can't believe the Terps standing around flat footed on D, watching Vandy drive around them and rebounds flying away. Overall nice defense by Vandy aside from the reaching and slapping.

Coleman getting 40 pts?

I thought Vandy played a hell of a game, but I don't like their reaching and slapping. MD is going to have to ice down all their players forearms.

But a great game to watch. Most guys I know hate WBB, and I just don't get that. To me good, hard, intense basketball is good, hard, intense basketball, men or women.

At least it isn't like the A&M players that just push the opposing player on the tip

Yeah, the brawler teams have a big advantage with the current state of officiating, which sucks. I'm tired of seeing brawlers beat the crap out of their opponents, I can't imagine why the PTB are letting the game drift in that direction.

Why would you tell your players to push someone on the tip? Are you trying to get the point across that we are going to be physical?
