Exactly. The only thing that's scaring some of us here about UNC is the name UNC. This isn't your typical UNC. We're by far the better team this year.

I like it. A match up with MSU would be nice, beating them would be better. Finally would prove that the Big 12 > Big 10
This is pretty awesome!! A 3 seed is great, and I'm guessing that we were close to a 2.
This was supposed to be a rebuilding year and we are a freaking 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. So proud of this team and the coaches.

And wins against MSU, Louisville, Duke, and Kentucky. 7 wins against tournament teams.
No bracket is going to be easy all the way to the Final Four. You can't play 4 16-seeds to get to the FF. You have to earn it.
I think this is the best bracket for ISU. UNC will be difficult.....if they get by Providence, which I don't think will be easy for them, and Providence is not a team ISU should overlook. I don't see Virginia making it to the regional final, so I think the next toughest after UNC/Providence will eventually be Michigan State. They looked good against Michigan today, and seem to be getting stronger as they get their players back healthy.

Agree, and this will not be a road game like 4 of our last 5 NCAA losses. In fact, I expect a lot of ISU fans to attend. Just can't look past NC Central

Right, for the first 2 rounds, it is more about which ISU team shows up. The Cyclones just need to play 40 minutes with energy. Hopefully, the WV road game got the horrible game out of their system.
Lot of CF'ers talked about Iowa dropping into the play-in — I didn't think it was that close to the bubble. Boy, was I wrong.
We have the easily best four seed, the weakest 2 seed (the beat practically nobody), and the 3rd or 4th best one seed. I think we're the best of the 3 seeds.
How does Baylor end up playing over half of their NCAA games in Texas? Other than the fact that the NCAA puts tons of tournament sites in that state that dislikes college basketball. I'll be thrilled to watch Baylor or Nebraska lose in that game.

The other 6-seeds were Ohio St, UMass, and Baylor. Obviously we could not meet Baylor, but we definitely got the toughest 6-seed. Really wish we would have gotten UMass.
