***Official Postgame Toledo Thread***

I agree we need a change in head coach. However, I do not think it will take place before end of the season.

The coaches may not make it past this season but it's hilarious what we blame on them. Fumble inside the 20? Coaches fault. Miss a 32 yard field goal? Coaches fault. Take a sack on 4th down with the game on the line? Coaches fault.

When end do the players share some of the blame?

On the missed fg, he should have been kicking from the center of the field instead of the left hash. I blame the last play on the o line, they failed to block the guy who tackled Sam twice.

I feel bad for the players. They work hard for hours every day. They put their bodies into it. Yeah mistakes are made and games are lost but these aren't pros who collect a paycheck.

Let's not let our disgust at the situation belittle the guys who work hard.

I'm as bad as anyone else, but I agree with you. Bed time...

It's not like Mangino is working magic here, but I'm all in favor of firing Paul tonight and naming Mangino interim head coach.

Let it be his interview for the position. I don't know if he'd get it, but give him a shot. What we have isn't working.

It's just bad on every level. Offense is a wreck. No identity. Stupid penalties. No discipline. Run the ball to a hash for a 30 yard field goal.

I honestly just can't bring myself to care. When we lost, I didn't throw a remote. I didn't cuss. I just had a good chuckle. We are a completely joke, and it's on Jamie now to do something. I don't know if a new coach will help, it may not. But hell at this point, what can you possibly have to lose?

Not sure how you put this loss squarely on Rhoads. So many unbelievably dumb mistakes by players over and over. Completely gave this game away. Don't fumble when you are already going down and not even taking a hard hit. Don't line up off sides on a punt return where you aren't even trying to block the kick. Don't get a false start in key situations over and over. Don't miss a chip shot field goal to win the game. The only guy that stepped up tonight was Montgomery. That dude needs to be on the field as much as possible.

I don't understand how you don't understand every single "mistake" you've listed here ultimately falls on coaching (maybe except for the fumble).

I really can't understand how some of you don't see the coaches did not do us any favors on the FG at the end of regulation. Not every FG miss is on coaching, that one certainly was at least partially the coaches screwing it up.

They play like a typical Rhoads team and they win that game by two touchdowns . They really ****** an easy upset win down their leg.

Last year's D sucked, but I think Wally's D philosophy is the only thing that has kept us in games during CPR's tenure. Has the offense ever clicked at any time?

Testing. Roads.

I really wanted to go to a game this year to check out the SEZ. Oh well, I guess it will still be there next season.

It has gotten so bad I may wind up rooting for Iowa this year. It's refreshing to see a time play hard and smart and with a purpose.
