Heartland is reporting there are still 7000 players uncommitted in the portal as of the 17th. That seems insanely high
Or agents telling them they are better than they areNot really. Lots of people out there thinking they are better than they actually are.
Do you have examples of the ISU related ones this year? Not saying it is anti-ISU conspiracy. Saying it is an overall bias and propaganda machine, that automatically boosts players rating if they happen to commit to a Blue blood or certain school or conference, and devalue those that go to schools like ISU, but not only ISU.
This has been going on for years, (both out of HS and transfers) and there are several examples of this exact thing happening with ISU transfers both in and out this year. Whether it is some sort of conspiracy or just straight up bias, I dont know, but it is pretty easy to see if you look at player ratings, and follow them for any number of years.
Did the Grinnell (I think) kid (Slagle???) ever commit anywhere?
Is that just FBS? Includes FCS, D-II? Is that just scholarship players, or include walk-ons?Heartland is reporting there are still 7000 players uncommitted in the portal as of the 17th. That seems insanely high
How many are ex-Cyclones? 247 is showing six.Heartland is reporting there are still 7000 players uncommitted in the portal as of the 17th. That seems insanely high
Good question. I don’t believe so but they didn’t list those actual figuresIs that just FBS? Includes FCS, D-II? Is that just scholarship players, or include walk-ons?
I read somewhere there were about 1,600 FBS players still in when the portal closed. Is that just FBS? Includes FCS, D-II? Is that just scholarship players, or include walk-ons?
Or parents who have been telling them that since pee wee footballOr agents telling them they are better than they are
I could be wrong but I think he has only 1 year of eligibility left. Redshirted at Michigan State in 2022 with 3 games played. Then played 8 more in 2023. Transferred to Jacksonville State and played 12 in 2024 and 14 in 2025.He's a dude. Whatever term Rogers & Bobbit have for their 3rd LB who is safety size ends up being among the top 2 in tackles on the team. The actual safeties also are up there in tackles, so super pleased with this addition. These late ones may be some of the best player-adds we get. Plus, he has 2 seasons eligibility, too. Experienced, older player with multiple years & known as a physical player = all good there!

1600 players divided by 134 FBS schools = 12 players per school that still have not found a home. That would include both full ride and walk-ons who entered the portal. So that # doesn't sound too off. The P4 schools will most likely fill up first. Then the G5 schools. Then FBS players left over will look at FCS, D2, D3 and NAIA or just leave the game.I read somewhere there were about 1,600 FBS players still in when the portal closed.
