RB is one of the positions that need the last experience imo. Lots of RBs start as freshmen. Plus a freshman of the year can't be bad.

So if I counted correctly and have walkons correct, there are currently 79 players on the roster including 4 walkons.
So a question I have, the other walkons on the 2025 roster, do we know if CJR is going to invite those guys back or is Rogers going to target his own walkons?
- 18 Returnees including walkons Barnes, Bjorn & Chase Smith
- 36 Portal Adds including walkon Lounsbury
- 25 HS/JUCO Signing
- 8 2025 Scholarship Players Who Haven't Announced (aka Stecker, Rutledge)

Didn't someone who personally knows a player come on here and say that some players who entered the portal were told they could come back?
Possibly PSU swung and missed on Johnson and then had to roll out the piggy bank to get the injured one year Cooper. High potential, healthy, more years of eligibility, and at a lower cost all seems to be the better play.
Its also possible Cooper shopped himself around, thinking he was worth more than he is, and found out the only one willing to pay him a significant amount was Campbell.
You guys better cheer for Cooper at psu as much as you did here, because he said so!

He actually lost carries as a sophomore, may have gotten too heavy/slow cause his ypc went down too. Not a threat in the receiving game either.

Hopefully a walk on and can get better here. I know Oregon State wasn’t a very good football team this year
