Was hoping we’d get Shaker Reisig over Zane, but have to trust the staff. Don’t know one OSU fan that was sad to see Zane go.
A depth piece with experience. Why not?
CW uses it so often. Many people clearly don’t know what it means.
We all hope Moberly can be a guy in the future maybe even backup next year. But let’s be honest that’s a huge question. This provides potential stability and more experience, helps balance the qb room in class just in case.

I know he didn’t have great numbers at Okie State, but he wasn’t exactly surrounded by a lot of talent and put into a tough situation as a freshman. He was the 27th ranked qb out of HS. I see this as a low risk and potentially high reward signing.
Didn't realize he's from Gretna, NE. Same hometown as Hawkins the DE from IWCC.
Makes total sense, he and Moberly will have multiple years after 2026. Set up competition for QB2 next fall.
It’s not though. I’d be willing to bet Moberly is better. If nothing else, it’s a toss up. Why not give the kid who was the first to say he wanted to be here a shot?

Honestly, I have been anticipating the now toothless NCAA to slap a tampering or some other BS violation on a non Big10 or SEC school since the NIL/portal floodgates were opened.
But what about Shaker Reisig who is scheduled to be here tomorrow? I assume Reisig is a take and nobody questions that one if he does commit. Flores just doesn’t make a lot of sense. To me anyway.
Raynor only has one year of eligibility and then Moberly and the high school kid are the only QBs on the roster. Flores has three years left. He is a depth piece and safety blanket for the future
I mean the honest truth is the staff doesn’t give a crap where Moberly is from and that he stayed. In there mind they have more college film on one that the other. To me the bigger suprise with this is Moberly stayed and was given that option.
I get that and I mostly don’t disagree, but…you know, I’m going to go back where I was and watch silently from the sidelines.
