I know it’s easy to pick on CMC right now, but c’mon. He put more Cyclones on the NFL than any other ISU coach.

Not upset about Rocco leaving, I never understood the fanfare for him. He was a mediocre QB, he played hard which I appreciated but he sucked this year. He doesn’t have an NFL future so I can’t blame him for getting a bag while he can. What’s funnier is watching Campbell bring a bunch of players over in favor of existing 5 star players PSU had. Also running Grunk out in favor of Rocco is so stupid. He has 3 more years of eligibility and looked good down the stretch versus a 1 year Rocco who will inevitably have a few 3 INT games and lose against Rutgers or something stupid.

Because Rocco and Brock had pretty identical stats when you put them next to each other and Rocco led ISU to their best season in school history.

Our OL might be just as good or better. That does a lot if we aren’t able to get the most talented skill positions.

It took Campbell 10 years, and Ryan Clanton three to have an offensive line as good as we are going to have in Rogers first year

The total NIL reset is really interesting to me. So much of our NIL budget has had to go to keeping a few guys (Rocco, Coop, Johntez, etc.). Starting from zero allows you to completely reformulate how you allocate resources. And it would appear the line is going to be a huge priority, which I love.

The players from lesser divisions haven't gone against this kind of speed yet and a lot of players from SEC or Big Ten were not starters and the minutes they did play were special teams or they got beat out by a younger player.

With almost $12MM from the university. So they would be 39MM in the hole if under the situation we are.

I hate to bring this up, but when was the last time Iowa had a big time NFL running back. We’ve had 2 recently. We can make a decent running back (who costs less) look good with good oline play.

Last season Kaleb Johnson finished in the top 3 for the Doak Walker. He didn't do much in his first season in the NFL.

That makes a big difference. Always thought Campbell's biggest issue was line. He had NFL rb's, qb, linebackers and DB's.
