I guess we’ve decided these guys are terrible for some reason. I think they’ll do great at PSU. Good for them. But, I’d much rather discuss our new guys and what they’ll provide this fall.
I think what people need to understand is the top 10 guys or so he is taking may or may not be starters or their top players. The difference with the top programs in the big10/sec is they will have 3 hansens while we will have one.

Our LB's in 2025 were not good. They were slow.
Penn State should be able to get more talented football players than farm kids from Iowa. Those kids won’t win them games in the CFP. That’s the point.

In what way did they "sell out"? Following coaches they (and their families) have built relationships with for 3/4/5+ years...?
It was known on December 5, 2025 that many of our players - including most of our best players - were going to Penn State. Because they were never "our" (Iowa State's) players; they were the staffs. Same is true for the WSU guys.

I still think this whole fiasco was brewing before even the Colorado game check-out. My Montana and Dakotas friends get so much more social value out of their school's athletics.....this is just a mess. I'm going to go re-watch the brothers Grimsby. Have a good year.
