If Iowa State athletics go down the crapper, it's a massive hit for the local and state economy. It's a good investment for the taxpayers. Not to mention, Iowa is eliminating income tax.

One could likely list 1000 things we currently pay for that are a waste versus the economic benefit from Iowa State athletics.

I can understand Matt being loyal to some of his guys, but Pedo St is going to need elite athletes. They may have an easy schedule, but at some point you will likely have to play Ohio State for a big 10 championship and some other elite team in the CFP. The Iowa State transfers are good players, but not beat Ohio State kind of players.

We were BYU level this year. While transitive property doesn’t work people always do it. BYU couldn’t hang with TT and TT couldn’t hang with Oregon.
