***Official portal tracker thread***

Why you must be a fun guy holding grudges from 25 years ago just because they are a fan now of that team. Yikes

And this is coming from me who was almost to the point of throwing my TV out the living room window. It affects me none today.

You see it manifest in all sorts of other ways too (NIL donations, premium subscriptions, etc).

Some people like @NoCreativity are really engaged, passionate fans and some people really can take it or leave it.

To be clear @Cyclonesrule91 I’m not judging you for your lack of dedication as a fan. For all I know you’re caring for a sick grandmother and Cyclone fandom isn’t really a priority. That’s OK too.

You guys actually think a player leaving for more money is being “run off by the coach?” No, he is transferring for more money.

I doubt there any successful Big 12 players that can’t fit into Rodgers scheme, especially given our bare bones roster.
“Run off” and “chasing more money” are two different things.

Rogers.

Huge! Seemed the most twitchy of those who had snaps this past season.
Now just to solidify the trenches, especially on the OL (obviously).
I agree, if we are going to have a successful start to the Rogers era, it will be due to the lines on both sides of the ball.

In order to stabilize the sport there should be no portal until after the bowl games and any player who refuses to play in the bowl game should be off the team and barred from workout facilities.
Would it really be terrible to move the portal window back to early spring and effectively bar players from moving before the end of spring semester? Grant in aid for scholarship players runs through the end of spring semester already, just hold them to it. Make coaches moving before January 1 subject to an NCAA penalty. Even if they know where they are going. Just eliminate the chaos that ruins the end of the season the way it did ours. It is just incredibly short sighted trying to cram the entire portal period into two weeks. Many more players would find homes if there were time.

The hope for me since members of the government are chirping is at least a little regulation. The genie is already out of the bottle for most of it but damn this **** is absolutely crazy
