I don't think the WSU situation and ISU is apples to apples either. Rogers spent one year in Pullman, and Campbell spent 10 years here-our players/fans were devastated with the change-I'm guessing most in Pullman were pissed, hence the reactions being different. As fan group, let's just move on,,,..not gonna hate on Campbell no more than I'll hate on Fred because we are so starved for a lifer coach.

That's his 247 profile, probably HS. He's listed on the Wyoming Cowboy site at 5'11" and 216lbs. He seems to fit the Rogers/Bobbit LB profile- smaller & quicker LB. Which is OK with a 4 man line.
Also former stud Cyclone linebacker Jeremiah George was 5'11" & 230lbs.

I used to live up near Duluth and went to a few of their games, and also became a fan of their hockey team. They have had a good football program for a long time. It's a big step down competition wise, but those are some huge numbers for a tight end. Hope the kid joins the good guys.
He's got every northern P4 after him, so will be interesting to see if CJR can win against the B1G and our peers!
What if he's a hybrid LB/S like the Vikings' Josh Metellus? He's listed at 5'11" and 207 lbs. I'd take a Metellus type player, he does everything and does it really well.
You can still be physical at the height and weight. And if I guy tackle, bring him in.

Remember that Candle took a different job also. Although I think we would be a step up from UCONN if we offered.
Carson Hansen has announced he is leaving and entering the portal.
Oh well. I would have liked him to stay as the focus of this offense. But, next man in. Good luck to him.
